Tom Ohanian

Biography


Tom Ohanian is an Academy Award and Five-Time Emmy award recipient.

He is the author of many textbooks on film and television post-production technologies. These books, such as “Digital Nonlinear Editing” and “Digital Filmmaking” have been translated into multiple languages and used in universities throughout the world. While his work is primarily non-fiction and textbook in focus, he is also the author of a novel on the history of the Armenian culture. Everything is written in long-hand with a Palomino Blackwing Pearl.

His latest book is THE MAKING OF A MOTION PICTURE EDITOR. What does it take to be a motion picture editor?
