Biography

Sam is the author of five Doherty mysteries, all of which are set in Rhode Island in the late 1950s to the early 1960s, featuring a private detective named Hugh Doherty.

The titles of these books are The Mill Town, The Lost Survivor, The Missing Films, The Girl on the Rocks and The Dead Soldier.

Along with his mystery writing he has also contributed feature and sports stories to The Arlington Advocate weekly newspaper in Arlington, Massachusetts and feature stories to the Provincetown Banner on Cape Cod.
