Biography

Larry Grimaldi is a freelance writer from North Providence, RI. He was Chief of Program Development for communications projects at the Rhode Island Division of Elderly Affairs. Larry wrote the Taking Charge columns for the Providence Journal and the Seniors Ask column that appeared regularly in many of the state’s daily and weekly newspapers before retiring in 2015 after 40 years of state service. Larry and his wife, Kathy, have co-written Wandering Across America, a chronicle of their 2015 cross-country drive and Cooking With Mammie, a cookbook developed from recipes prepared with their grandchildren.
