Biography
Julie Garnett, (a RI native), is a recording artist, award winning songwriter, and performer of Children’s Music. She also creates Children’s Music Videos (two are airing on Rhode Island PBS…”Different” and, from her award winning Lullaby album, “Pooped!”). She is now a Musical Author, with her newly released Children’s book, “Animal Songs”. Filled with STEAM attributes, and engaging children on many levels, “Animal Songs” is the first sound book of its kind by a “live” recording artist and her original song, integrated into the book. Digital and download free, you just push the buttons. She is touring, promoting “Animal Songs” with her “Book Sing’n Signing”, a musical, interactive, literacy Storytime for children ages 1 – 7. Singing songs that have become books, and reading books that have become songs, she ends her presentation with “Animal Songs”…..which is both!
