Joann Mead and I just published our new book Married in Moscow: A Red-hot Memoir in Cold Water Times. 

Born in Wimbledon England but I started traveling and living abroad in 1979. I lived in Moscow during the USSR, newly independent Zimbabwe Africa, and the USA.  I have many interests: geography, politics, history, tennis, and avant-garde electronic music.

 

I have a PhD in Education Administration. Over the years I have written about ethics, teaching case studies, and writing educational research. Not everything I write is serious. I published a short story Hegel Walks into a Bar in Philosophy Now. As a teacher, I taught every grade from Kindergarten to Graduate School.
