From 1967 to 1970, Jack was stationed at Ft. Holabird Intelligence School in Baltimore and then with bilateral (Viet-American) operations in Saigon, Vietnam. His experiences under “civilian cover” in Vietnam and Stateside provided the experiences he turned to fiction in Vietnam Remix (2017) and There Comes A Time (2020), which are not “combat” books but are light-hearted interpretations of those most incandescent and confusing years, the late 60’s.

 

Jack has a Ph.D. in history from Columbia University and is retired from teaching college-bound students at University High, Tucson.

 

He lives in Providence with his wife, Patricia.
