Hank Ellis
Biography
Hank Ellis is the author of The Promise series—adventure stories for teens and curious adults that celebrate friendship and teamwork, respect for all cultures, our divine connection, and the importance of caring for our planet. His first book The Promise: A Perilous Journey took twenty years to finish. Since then, he’s written two more books in the Promise series and is working on a fourth. His first book was a finalist in the 2018 Independent Publishers of New England (IPNE) Book Awards contest in literary fiction and his second book The Promise: Discovering Their Gifts was the 2020 winner of the IPNE contest.
Since joining the Association of Rhode Island Authors (ARIA) he has written several short stories, and poetry. His poetry and short stories have been featured in four ARIA anthologies: “Selections”, “Past, Present, and Future”, “Hope”, and “Green”.
Hank is a retired environmental scientist with Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in natural resources and wildlife management.
