Donna McCarthy
Biography
Born & raised on Long Island, I received a BFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts in 1987. I worked as a freelance illustrator, textile designer and part time art teacher until 1990 when I moved to Arizona.
After acquiring my Masters Degree in Education from Northern Arizona University, I became a full time art teacher.
After many wonderful years of teaching, I retired and moved back to the Northeast. It is here is that I have decided to pursue my first love, picture book illustration and writing stories for children.
