A mother of three and author of Mother Daze, Tales from the Imperfect Playground and Corwin and Friends: We Can Do It, Christine Carr has taught Physical Education in East Greenwich, Rhode Island since 1993. Her PE program features the ever popular sports skills, games, exercise, and fitness practices while emphasizing the importance of teamwork, cooperation, fair play, and kindness. Her illustrated character, Corwin, whose name means “heart’s friend,” acts as an ambassador for goodness and a friend for all.
